Therathalas grew up in a small herding village. Her parents decided to start her off with cattle. After losing all but one, her parents set her to sheparding the fat and lazy sheep. After she cried wolf one too many times, a wolf came to her cries and promptly had a feast. Her parents then set her to watching the house to make sure it didn’t move. They thought of all things, she couldn’t botch THAT up.
She sat and looked at the house. The house sat there. She looked. It sat. Looked. Sat. Looked. Sat. Finally she stamped her feet with frustration. Nothing was happening.
Suddenly, a sinkhole appeared where she stamped the ground. It promptly swallowed the house and all the land her parents owned.
Before she could get into more trouble,
Therathalas began wandering, looking for something to do. She stumbled across a priest, who decided she would make a good pupil (his mistake, of course). He taught her about hundreds of gods, all of them quite boring. (Not that she remembers any)
Then she heard about the most amazing, splendiferous, superior, awesome, Goddess named Coolbp5. She devoted herself to the Goddess Coolbp5, hoping some of the awesomeness would rub off onto her. (Therathalas became Coolbp5’s follower on 4/17/15).
One day, Coolbp5 decided she needed a heroine, and chose Therathalas. Now Therathalas fights evil, with her Goddess to protect her and encourage her. And, of course, keep her from botching it up too much.
PET LOG
- Therathalas’s first pet was Dogmeat, the Rocky Raccoon. She was able to keep him alive for nine levels. Alas, poor Dogmeat hath met his doom, protecting his mistress to his end. Therathalas is sad, but now has Woody, the talking donkey to accompany her on her heroic quests.
- So far, he has been able to accompany her for five months. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, Woody lost all his levels. Poor Woody! After five months and four days, Therathalas finally set poor Woody free. At least he is happier now… At least, she hopes so.
- Therathalas had a Prancing Pony named Rex. (She got him 2/1/16, set him free 2/23/17) Therathalas enjoyed her time spent with her horse, but realized all monsters need freedom in their lives.
- Next was a Bipolar Bear named Gleep. (Tamed 2/24/17) She has managed to keep him healthy for at least fifteen levels. (Released 6/7/17 in Spain)
- She then had a large Solar bear named Nibbler. They were quite fond of each other, and after 9 months he managed to get well over 20 levels. After he lost his levels, he became quite depressed and Therathalas released him to be with his family.
- Chewy the double dragon and Therathalas set out on a journey together. Astonishingly, he had been with her for about 8 months and had managed to accumulate 29 levels! Unfortunately, he sacrificed himself in battle and Therathalas was unable to revive him. She said farewell to Chewy on 2/10/19.
- Therathalas had a hyper lynx companion that had agreed to accompany her (3/16/19) It’s name was Olwyn, and it battled its way to level 22. Unfortunately, Therathalas could not save her pet in time and Olwyn quietly slipped away on (10/14/19).
- On (10/16/19) Therathalas met Thumper the Heffalump, and they get along quite nicely. So far Thumper is at level 30, and is quite happily roaming around in the ark (06/04/2020).
- On (06/06/2020) Therathalas stumbled upon Buck the Grounded Hog’s burrow. Buck promptly adopted the heroine and they are traversing the world together, while Buck keeps an eye out for any monsters. Buck has managed to get to level 30 without any incident. He is currently relaxing in the ark.
- On (12/20/20) Therathalas came across a gummy wyrm. she was going to eat it, before she realized it was sentient! After apologizing extensively, she and the gummy wyrm decided to travel together. She named it Snowy, and it has so far accumulated 30 levels. He is currently enjoying his time in the arks’ luxury suite.
- On (2/3/22) Therathalas tripped and fell onto Fido the vengeful mole. As an apology, she gave him some food, and he decided that she would have to keep feeding him forever.
‘07:34 PM I looked into the kind eyes of the vanquished monster and suddenly decided — Vengeful Mole, you’ll be my pet! And I’ll call you Fido. Bandaged his wounds, gave him a treat and fastened the leash.’
Fido heroically made it to level 30. He is currently pestering the other three monsters in the stables on the ark.
- ‘08:34 AM I was just about to defeat the Godvilla when he pulled out a beer and offered it to me. Hey, I could use a good drinking buddy. Slapped a collar on him and named him Null. He looks like he’s regretting his choice now.’ Null is currently traipsing around in Therathalas’ ark, and is level 31.
- Therathalas was skipping around the shore of a lake when she suddenly noticed a battle toad hopping along with her. They both had so much fun they decided to skip together through a great many battles. Stitch is currently level 42.
